I’m Sanghyun, a Korean backend engineer working in Tokyo. At work I build systems for payments and finance with Java, Kotlin and Spring — APIs, databases, authentication, cloud infrastructure and CI/CD.

Outside work I build side projects end to end. They’re where I try what I don’t get to use at work: a new framework, another cloud, running a service on my own. I’d rather ship something small and keep it running than start something big.
